True humility is not putting yourself down, but rather, fully grasping your skills, talents and limitations and honestly facing each. When we choose to share them, therein lies the seed of true greatness. Your kids will do very well indeed with such wise guidance from you! I always tell my kids to compete with themselves, not with the other kids. It's important to focus on making yourself the best you can be, not constantly comparing yourself to someone else.
